Stocks fell sharply today after the Philidelphia Federal Reserve made a surprise announcement that its broadest measure of manufacturing fell to a negative reading for the first time since April 2003, renewing investor fears that the economy is slowing.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average, ended lower by 80 points, or 0.7%, to 11,533. The S&P 500 dipped 7 points, or 0.5%, to 1318, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 15 points, or 0.7%, to 2238.
WINNERS
GLOBAL ENTMNT HLDGS/EQTY INC (GAMM) closed the day at .99 up 94.12%. Global Entertainment Holdings announced today that shareholders had approved a 3 for 1 Reverse and Dividend Declaration.
Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation (UPDA) continued to climb today. UPDA was up 49.30% closing the day at $.106. More goods news came out today regarding their Cathlin Oil and Gas field in Jack, County, Texas. URANIUM RESOURCES (URRE) bounced back today. Stock value rose $.68, or 37.16% to close the day at US$ 2.510. The company announced a conference call for tomorrow regarding a production update. Investors are repositioning and hoping for good news. Read more here, and here.
Lots of trading volume from QUANTUM ENERGY (QEGY). QUEGY rose 18.37% to close out at $3.35.
Some positive press regarding DALRADA FINANCIAL CORP. (DFCO) lit a fire under the stock. DFCO was up 0.35, or 46.67% to close out at $1.10. Deloitte & Touche just recognized DFCO as the 9th fastest growing company in San Diego. [Read More]

HIGH END VENTURES (HEND) gave up $3.45, or 69% to close out at $1.55. The stock price was pulled down primarily by market correction after surging yesterday on a forward split announcement.
MEGADATA CORP (MDTA) dropped 20% to close out at $2.80 a investors cashed in on gains made after Tuesdays financials release. [Read More]
BUFFAL GOLD LTD. (BYBUF) dropped 14.81% to close out $2.3. The drop was prompted by todays announcement of extending drilling at Mt. Kare in the North-Western Roscoelite Zone. Investors are using today’s announcement as a good jump off to lighten their position on BYBUF. [Read More]

Vocalscape Networks, Inc. (VOSC) announced today the launch of Peoplefone Austria VOIP service as wellas a revenue sharing partnership with Peoplefone AG.
